All I know is that I chop 1.5" to 2" off the ends of mine whenever I get a new cycle in order that I can clear those infernal metal things they put on certain council managed cycleways in order to keep the local teenage lager swilling dope smoking chip eating scum from riding their mopeds on them.

Just snook into the garage to measure mine, bike a)charge duster has been cut down to 24.25" and bike b) Saracen Zen has been cut down to 25".

i.e. the bottom end of the 15% 24-26" category, you would need very narrow shoulders to be comfortable at under 24".

Grum - isn't it normally something you'd look at when buying new bars? I always measure if cutting them down and find mental arithmetic fairly simple so I know the width of all my bikes bars.
Not too sure why anyone would care about the results of a poll tho
to check that they're niche enough or to fit in with the crowd maybe??

Meant this - I know how wide my bars are, just can't imagine why you would want to know how wide everyone elses' were.
