I have nothing to lose so would like to make a claim, but there's so many of these injury lawyer firms out there I just wondered if anyone has one they would recommend?

Thanks!

See who CTC or BC recommend? There are cycle specialists IIRC.

I used Bikeline. It was under the old costs rules though. They still do no win no fee but I think it works slightly differently now.

The rules changed (IIRC) to stop people who

have nothing to lose
bringing exaggerated claims for minor or non existent injuries. You have to pay a proportion of your pay out now, so the no-win-no-fee lawyers aren't too interested in claims for a couple of quid.

Currently using one recommended by CTC, after being knocked off and left with a badly broken collarbone.
Perfectly happy with them so far, but it's a fairly long drawn out process.

im a personal injury lawyer, for what its worth. You're quite welcome to PM me if you have any queries and I'd be happy to help a fellow biker. The basic gist nowadays (since april 2013 to be exact) for my firm, is 'no win no fee' still but now it's 'win, fee'. You'd be charged out of your damages only if you win. This is a sliding scale depending on the work we do but is capped at 25% of your damages.

nowadays, the tariff for personal injury damages has been increased by 10% across the board so this takes the edge off the new fees
