Yup, i run Metal and Resin pads in my Saints!
Works brilliantly! The resin pad give nice early bite when the brakes are cold / wet and the metal pads steps in to take over when they get hot. Run them like this for 6 months in the UK, and this summer in the alps, no issues. The wear on the disc is of course asymmetric, but swapping round the pads side to side levels things out, and seems to give more inital bite (as the metal pad chews up the disc much more than the soft resin one, that just polishes it up)

Have to check which two compounds though.
Only downside is when the softer pad is gone, the harder one is usually fairly tapered so even though it's only half used, it often gets chucked. Saying that i usually manage a season on 3 sets. 2 front, one back. So i don't give a shit.
