I'm wanting to take advantage of the bargain Merlin XT / Stans 355 wheels but the front is 15mm and I a rigid QR forks.
A quick google found a couple ideas:
Someone mentioned [url= http://www.behindthebikeshed.co.uk/6396/products/mavic_reducer_kit_15mm_to_9mm_quick_release.aspx ]these[/url] Mavic reducers but I'm not convinced they will work on Shimano hubs, has anyone tried this?
And I found [url= http://forums.mtbr.com/shocks-suspension/heres-how-convert-15mm-thru-9mm-qr-663400.html ]this[/url] post about a homemade axle conversion but I can't see how it would work as nothing stops the wheel moving side to side.
Any others ideas or is it simply not possible?
