I did a local loop that I'd not done for a while, forgot how good local loops can be, nice steep valley, singletrack, hardly a soul about, not bad considering it's less than 20 miles Central London, that's all really.

Agreed - back in the day Happy Valley used to be my regular loop, and sometimes now I end up including it. Hooning it down from the car park near the Fox pub is great fun. Maybe I'll head up there tomorrow...

Ha brings back memories! Used to live in CotH for a couple of years and found some great cheeky trails! Runs down from the fox were good, but really liked the blast down beside the motorway from the top of the hill. Some great pubs round there to finish with a nice pint!
