I went to the one in Exeter, having been to the Peaty one last year.

It was good, first half was ace for those looking back and some funny anecdotes of the scene back in its infancy.

Second half was less interesting for me, I have massive respect for his challenges but it simply doesn’t fire my imagination. In fact it’s like STW magazine, I often skim the foreign adventure stuff as it’s just not my thing.

All in all it was a decent enough evening out, and he’s a top guy so wish him well.

Went to the one in Peebles last weekend, enjoyed his talks, he's surprisingly funny for a german. Seems to be a really approachable man

Enjoyed it at Derby. Easy going. He’s been to a lot of places.

Stirling. Went to steve peat and would say hans was better. Plus danny mccaskill made a wee guest appearance to talk about him getting altitude sickness on their mt kenya/killimj trip. Really engaging, funny and made me really want to go to livingno

Hans held the audience really well and came across as warm and genuine. Great night.
