Don't know if it's been posted before and might be a bit on the late side, but a heads up for anyone thinking of heading for a ride round Hamsterley tomorrow, you won't really be able to as there is a car rally on most of the day (till late afternoon). I believe all the trails will be closed.
Alternatively, I'd advise going to watch as the expected rain should make it entertaining!
And if you are, cheer us on in car no 47, black Polo going slowly towards the end of the field...
Good luck - is there a ford in that forest?
Anyone who is at a loose end as a result of the trail closures, you could help marshal the car parks. Alll proceeds to the Hamsterley Trailblazers. 8am start at the Grove.
Thanks woody, there are a couple of Fords, sadly not in use, they built a temporary bridge for the past couple of years at the North end of the forest. The famous Ford from back in the glory days is not in use at all as it's just far too rough for a car.
Far more exciting watching Stephen Petch in his Fiesta R5 or Robinson in his Mk2 Escort !!
