Just bumping this thread so as not to create another.
Anyone else been daft enough to enter this? Weather is going to wet all day, probably windy too.
I'll be the bloke at the back on the wholly unsuited blue Pace.
Wanted to, couldn't get anyo of my 'riding' mates remotely interested in doing it with me ( either solo or as a pair). Very long day to do on my own with driving, setup, tidy up after, packing car and driving home.

It was a lot of fun, and I was lapped and overtaken many time. I just enjoyed pootling along and doing bits of the forest I know well many times. Managed 5 laps and then bailed. I could have squeezed in one more lap before cut off, but was pretty knackered by that time.
Weather was OK, cool, cloudy moist of the day, a spot of rain in the early afternoon.
Lots of skinny serious people on skinny serious bikes with back-up teams from proper cycling clvbs.
