how many people on hear riding a half fat bike?
I had my first go last week and enjoyed it loads. ๐
Full and two halfs here. ๐
Had mine for 2 years ๐
half fat for a month.full fat now ๐
I just got a fat front end of hear last week, put it on my inbread 29er got to say FUN FUN FUN. the only down side is the tyre is a surly endo, a larry would be better, any of you fancy a swap ๐
Half fat , Nate at the front its a slog uphill but its so worth it for the downs, next ride ill be using that bike ๐
It's soo much fun
Forget larry - you need Nate!
1 x Semi skimmed and loved it so much I've now got a full fat this time last year as well
i think a nate will be a bit much up front for me. quite like the look of the 45NRTH Husker Du Tyre ( not the price though)
Full fat now, but I've had a few half-fats. Raced one in the'Puffer Lite too.
Half-fat is better than pure 29er but nowhere near as good as full fat. However it's still worth doing because it improves the bike.
Definitely ditch the Endo and get a Larry. Endo is regarded as a rear tyre these days and good for flotation.
What will your username be then? ๐
nah, stuff the nate, you need a dominator it's even biggerer with knoblies on it (just over 108mm on an 80mm rim)
stop teasing!.. we need pics.
i must say, id love to give it a go. does it make you feel invincible on the downs?
Yes
I actually meant to say a veerubber devistaor is a massive fat tyre with knobs on on. A big rubber domintor is something a bit different from that other website I must have been looking at
