Made the effort to get up early, caught the train out to Hebden Bridge, sun shining, new to me route, great singletrack at just the right difficulty level, loads of people out, all saying hello (except the bloke riding on the Pennine Bridleway in full armour, it's always that guy isn't it).
Even found myself pulling impromptu 'on the trail, not thinking really hard about it trying and failing in the car park' bunny hops, which is very new and exciting to me!
Riding bikes really is bloody ace, isn't it?

Found a whole new section of trail in my local woods, hit a particularly big double which has psyched me out for years, and put together a whole new local loop. What a day eh? 🙂
