Can anyone recommend anywhere please?
There's a group of 5/6 of us going up on't bikes in July looking to stay within walking distance of the town centre for evening activites.
Can find lots of B&B type of places but all double beds not twin rooms etc, quite happy to self cater in a lodge or camping pod kind of thing. Our usual haunt of the area (Castlerigg) is fully booked the weekend we're going unfortunately, so any advice greatly appreciated.
Bike storage preferable but not essential as we may just sneak 'um into the accommodation.. 😆

the yha in Keswick itself, although not sure if they have bike storage or the old derwen****er yha down the road a bit, calling itself the [url= http://derwen****er.org/ ]derwen****er independent hostel. [/url]
2 ticks from ashness bridge which is up behind it plus a fantastic waterfall and woodland walk and also directly on the borrowdale bash route, lovely views of the lake and it's at the end of the drive for a swim if you want. Consequence is it's a little bit further from the town, maybe 5-10 in the car. They have loads of room incl one large main room with about 20 bunks down to 4 berth rooms.
