Does anybody have a GPX file for the PMBA Grizedale enduro route that they are willing to share?
Cheers

I thought most of it was on private land on the Graythwaite Estate?

(apols if you weren't planning to ride it!)

Which one? I've raced a couple of the Grizedale enduros (pre-using Graythwaite) and they're a mix of footpaths, existing North Face trails (some in the opposite direction), fresh cut stuff or off-piste stuff over the other side down to Coniston.

Some of the fresh cut stuff is (officially) out of bounds outside of races and the footpaths are a no-no (signs have sprung up around the footpaths up to Carron Cragg). The stuff down to Coniston is on Trailforks though and is excellent...

Isn't that the PMBA Lakes Enduro? Grizedale one is all around the TC. The guys at the shop will give you a map, some of the trails we did on it in 2017 were awesome.

Absolutely. Although a few weeks ago it was drier than I've ever ridden it and nowhere near as difficult as I remembered it being, especially the top section off the BW towards Parkamoor. Rode a few of those trails now and they're all brilliant (in a seat slammed shouting "shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!" in places type way!).

We did some of those when the trails were like streams, couldn't see what you were riding for the covering of white water, there was plenty of "shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!" going on that day. Can't wait to go back in dry (or drier) conditions.

Great stuff I was after info about the Grizedale trails. Sounds as tho the ones towards the Coniston side are the ones to look at. Thanks all for the replies.

Yep - look on Trailforks or follow the NFT up to the top. The road bends around to the right and theres a big rock on the left with a BW (I think signed to Parkamoor) to the left. Follow the BW and pick one of the trails disappearing into the trees off to the right. And hold on tight 😀

Call into the shop and talk to the lads mate, they'll point you in the right direction and be able to give you updates on whats currently got a fallen tree across it half way down and whats riding well at the moment

Wouldn't mind checking there's trails out myself at some point. Often do parkamoor, but never done the enduro trails. Do they go so the way down to the lake? How do you get back up!?

There is a fire road back up or a bridleway or a mixture of the two

We turned left once we reached the road at the side of the lake then took the next left turned and followed the fireroads back up, its all rideable.

What Mugboo said. Left at the bottom and then around the back of the house is the easiest way. That fire road also crosses some of the trails so you can use it to loop around and do them again/do others. Other option is right and along to the BW that goes up through Lawsons Park (?) which brings you out closer to the northern edge of the forest. I'm hoping to get over again in the next few weeks and explore more of the enduro bits...
