Lots of us going from CC Ashwell again although we've had 3 or 4 drop out.
Mix of bikes and tyres and probably beer.
Bringing a bucket and sponge.
Our reign as tug of war champions will last another year.

Make that seven from Minch!
Will be on a gravelised Transition with rigid forks and Terreno's.
Likely out of date beer from Nailsworth off licence.
Wet wipes it is.

Entered, but the late confirmation of the event happening means we can't be there.

Question.

Where do we stand on wearing previous Gritfest t-shirts to the current event? Cool or uncool?

Its a bit like the do I wear a band t-shirt to one of their gigs?. You are already at one of their gigs, so everyone already knows you like them, no need to show it off.

That was fun. The weather even played ball! I think I need better gearing for next time.

Agreed, another great edition from Matt and his team. Satuurday's views over Llyn Brianne were incredible. I missed the final stage in Cwm Rhyadaer but that's because I was on an mtb.

Interesting to hear that the top few riders approached the stages as a TTT. Nothing in the rules so fair game. Sounds like they were flying!

Was it one of your lot that crashed badly on day 1 ? I was first rider behind him and found him lying in the ditch, shortly before his mates rolled up behind. I rode on to tell the marshals he needed help. Just wondering if he was ok after?

I heard that too. Also saw some male riders pacing some female riders. Not strictly against the rules but not totally in the spirit of fair play either. Expect something in the rules next year.
