Finding the grip a tad lacking on these pedals.
Hope say there are some in the pipeline, but I was wondering if anybody had sourced an alternative pin.
Had hoped some old Syncros shin wreckers would fit, but they don't (threads too narrow)
What shoes are you using?

If DMR Pins will fit, the vault pins (or the Vault Moto pins) are very grippy
They don't. Larger thread on the hope pins
There was a review of the Hopes in one of the mags recently where they commented that the solid pins didn't work well- Hope supplied him with alternative pins. Worth giving them a call (after all they have built their business on making shonky products then providing excellent customer service to fix them 😉 )
I contacted Hope (by email) to enquire about grippier pins. They replied that they are going to produce some 'slightly' grippier pins, hopefully later in the year.
Perhaps I need to say I work for a magazine to get some now 😉
