I bet WCA was bleeding just minutes after setting off. I don't think I've ever been on a ride with him, where he hazzunt bled.

And look at the state of that tatty t-shirt.

Sat in the Dropoff cafe now after finishing Skyline with the Poddies and Wriggles. Another great ride completed in blazing sunshine and dusty trails.

Awesome

Did Glencorrwg yesterday, second short cut of Skyline, and cut back up the climb to finish Whites. It was good, weather was nice, trails pretty good. Loads of ATGNI mincers on Whites though

Well, I'm quite jealous that you're all fit enough and injury-free to have done this little SSD jaunt! But, seriously, did WCA really need to bring his axe along?

Several people went quite pale when he started waving his trail saw around (fnar fnar) in the drop off cafe.

Wiltshire Adventure sounds exciting!

Ooh, I do hope we'll be riding in the fabled Woods Behind Nationwide in Swindon!

Oh, and I was right. Apparently, WCA sustained that injury 5 MINUTES after setting off.

Typical... 🙄

Nickc - first ride bronze titus me (I'll do the walk of shame tomorrow night!). Who was the purple GT?

TBH the classic was the rider half way up the Wall with their forks on the wrong way round. Well done Rich for intervening.

Rich - today was rubbish. No honestly it was. 😈

Loads of ATGNI mincers on Whites though

nickc's obviously a 'Riding God', and no-one else should be on his trails... 🙄

I'd hardly describe the SSSD as 'mincers', anyway.

Blunderers, more like... 🙂

I do indeed ride like a blundering mincer, but in my head I am a "riding god", oh yes!

nickc's obviously a 'Riding God', and no-one else should be on his trails

Was that you mincing in front of me, then?

TBH don't normally criticize, but there was some fairly slow free-wheel riding going on along the best descents, and there were some locals razzing about; going down the up bits, and giving every one else dirty looks, and idiots standing around at dangerous parts of the trail Pretty much what you'd expect on a fairly dry day at one of the most popular trail centres...

Andy, the GT riding was doing all right, he was on an ancient old rigid thing, canti-brakes and skinny tyres (putting the rest of us to shame)

HTTP404 - The helmet is an XL. Unfortunately I am XXL.

The leg was just a graze

Yeah, just keep rubbing it in that I missed a really good weekend 😥

Seriously it looked fun and glad you all enjoyed yourselves but ... tell me ... how did WCA REALLY get those cuts?

(sick and lame C_G)

WCA was trying to get me to tow him up the climb on the Wall, he lost balance and nearly wiped me, Andy and Pete out. Out mad skillz saved the day.. and WCA ended up bleeding all over the trails 🙂

And Rich saw someone riding with their forks on backwards and had to fix it before they killed themselves..........

nickc in fairness; it was the first ride on anything like this outside the south east for 3 of our group and one had only been riding for 6 months so to do W2 is a pretty good achievement IMO. I was also pleased they all enjoyed themselves and no one (apart from the usual self destruct above) was hurt.

Thanks Dezb, pleased with it so far, I wanted a pitch but missed out on the bargain XL ones, and then this popped up courtesy of Fat Treads.
