Some nice shots there Simon. I went back and forth over Sheep House Lane Saturday morning and the cloud / mist / inversion was superb.

what was interesting was, there was no wind, so the cloud just sat on Darwen Moor, with a clear edge running along the road at Picadilly. After lunch the sunshine vanished as we dropped to the road 🙁
Is that Nicki's first ride since the accident ?
yes, a year and 6 weeks off her bike! She experienced that rueful feeling where, because she'd formerly been so fit, her expectations were high. She set off at speed and just kept getting slower and slower, poor girl 🙁

Do I get a quid .? That's almost infringment . Elements of ice cream run are definitely present , I d even say strongly implied .
