In my ongoing battle against tubeless setup, I had my rear wheel off my gravel bike to replace the valve. This seems to have sorted the latest pressure issue but I'm having a mare. I put the wheel back on, it took a while to get the thru axle in which is unusual but it now seems to be threading too far through and pulling the wheel to the left, with the brake housing rubbing against the rotor. So I must be missing a spacer of some sort but I can't find it anywhere and never had this issue before. I assume the spacer must be between the wheel and dropout but I don't even know what replacement to order.

The wheels are Mavic on a Dolan bike, photos below (hopefully). Any thoughts? I'm really stuck. Ta.

You've not inadvertently put the end-caps on the opposite way around? Often they are different sizes...
Did the rotor still fit in the caliper as previously or did you have to adjust it?
End caps? What are end caps? I've not knowingly taken anything off or swapped anything, I just removed the thru axle, took the wheel out, replaced the valve and topped up sealant then tried putting it back together. Â I assume I have lost something else in the process.
Rotor has always fitted in the caliper without any adjustment, but tonight the thru axle just seems to be pulling the wheel too far over to the caliper side.
Maybe some photos of the disc side of the hub with the wheel removed would help folks diagnose the problem better?
Have you measured what width the hub is now?
That'd diagnose if there was a spacer missing straight away.
Poke something like a pencil through the axle hole and put a mark on it either end then measure that for an easy way to measure the width.
Try looking for an explode diagram of the Mavic hub/wheels.
Tredz have these. It's the split cap that's missing. I tried to post a link but failed.    Mavic QRM Auto Rear Axle Adapters - 12x142/148/157mm

It's probably on the floor somewhere. Order a new and you'll step on the old one as soon as you get the new one delivered!
If you’ve not removed any bits and it was working ok before, you’ve probably dropped the end cap on the floor. Just find it and refit it.

The perils of a gravel drive and messy garage, but got there in the end! Glad I didn’t pay £16 to replace this Â

I love those shed moments 😀 You are 100% sure that you have done everything correct, then get stuck in a loop.
Still, at least you won't do it again...
