I just sized up on the Canyon web site for a 7.9 29er and it comes back as small. Given I am 5' 11" with a 32" in seam I thought that was rather strange as I have always ridden a medium sized 18" frame in the past.
Would appreciate any guidance on sizing from current owners.

What's your exact inseam measurement in cm ? Don't go on your trouser size.
As above, take measurements carefully as they show on website. A small inaccuracy on my part was suggesting a M until I got an correct (fraction longer) figure on an AL 9.9 and this moved it to L. I am 6'2" it fits very well. usually have 19" or 20" frames
I'm also 6'2" - but less diligent, I just ordered large as i cant remember the last time i bought [i]anything[/i] in any other size.
Probably not great advice!
