Was wondering whether anyone had a gps track for the Cartmel Fell route from Vertebrate Graphics Lake District Mountain Biking?

Or any other routes within pedalling distance of Newby Bridge?

All responses appreciated.

Many thanks

Chris

Hi Chris, there's quite a lot of stuff within pedaling distance of Newby Bridge, if you check out Chapel house wood (Staveley-in-cartmel)and Canny Hill there are options for a nice route, then there's the Cumbrian coastal way and the stuff around Cartmel and Finsthwaite.
TBH I usually just make it up as i go along or my legs start to fall off!
Let me know if you fancy a ride some time.

Jono.

I'd recommend this route from High Newton High Newton Loop
Link gives option to send to GPS.

Its a better ride that the Cartmel Fell loop which consists of a long road downhill to the Masons Arms - the rest of the ride makes your way back up hill. Only good bit is the descent to Staveley in Cartmel which is included in the High Newton loop. Pub at High Newton recommended too
