I have had to replace my original elixir 5 caplier with a new elixir 3 one. My plan was to fit the existing good ridge hose to it as the hose on the new brake is too short. However it seems not to be that straight forward!
The fitting on the caliper on the newer elixir 3 has a much longer collar meaning that the fitting on my goodridge hose will not fit correctly into the caliper.
Is anyone familiar with this and can anyone point me in the direction of a fitting which would solve my problems? CRC have good ridge fitting sets for Avid elixirs but will the kit contain the part I need?
