why didnt you get the braided (goodridge) version of the brake, only a tenner more

it will make the feel marginally harder / less travel as they swell less under pressure. Good or bad depends how you like the brake. Its a very marginal effect tho - I have Goodrich on one bike and I don't notice the difference

Speaking from experience today the Goodridge fittings are easier to set up than the Hope, as above Goodridge hose and Hope hose are one of the same

Actually this is a weird situation. The current cable has what appears to be a 'kink' but on closer examination looks as if someone has attempted to cut the damn thing.

Only noticed it when brake not performing to usual high standard. I'd send a pic only the Flickr way of posting pictures for some reason doesn't want to want me to do this anymore.

I recall eating a bacon butty at Roman Lakes Marple last weekend and bike was getting a load of attention from walkers.

Seriously thinking this might be sabotage. Possibly paranoia on my part but never known this happen before and had plenty of hydraulic brakes on various bikes.
