am I missing something? What is the price point (and what riding do you do/what does the bike need to do)?
Someone may consider their £4K bike good value but that's not much help if you have a budget of £1k/£2k etc

The Vitus Escape is a good bike. I have the longer travel Sommet and rate it very highly. Also the Birds stack up well and get good reviews. As alluded to above, as the 2017 ranges are being prepared for launch there'll be lots of deals on 2016 bikes if you shop around
