Can anyone recomend a good bike shop in the Wakefield area? A colleague is looking to get his better half a bike, and want's to go somewhere they can get some good advice and won't be fobbed off with some heavyweight peice of junk.

Try Bike Shed in Scissett ( giant )
or Lex's in Penistone ( lapiere, trek, cube, ibis , Gary Fisher )

Add Sowerby Brothers in Mirfield.
Evans at that Exscape place near Castleford. Never been not sure about the quality of service there...
