I'm considering giving a rigid fork a go but had the following question: I currently have a hardtail frame with a 100mm travel fork on it, a 2009 Magura Durin Race. I've measured the ATC length on it (roughly) at 460mm, and the Magura website states 473mm but that's for this model year (2012). So assume it's around 460-473mm.

I was just looking at the Carbon Cycles Exotic fork chart, and they say that for a 100mm suspension fork like I have, a rigid fork with a 445mm ATC length would be appropriate, but this obviously seems a fair bit less than what I've measured my current Durin to be at. Am I missing something here?

Is that atc you measured sagged (with you sat on the bike) or unsagged?

Ah, good point. Completely unsagged. So sagged it would be around -20mm, which is around 440mm, which is almost exactly what the Exotic fork is, so I do need the 445mm one after all. Thanks ๐Ÿ˜€
