I picked up a s/h cannondale trail sl2 off the forum recently, the naff RST forks are bust so looking to change and upgrade them. ive changed things around on another bike and have some revs i could use, but im unsure how the extra travel will pan out. The revs are currently running at 150mm, but im fairly sure this can be brought down to 130mm internally. Another point to consider is the dale runs a semi intergrated 1.5" headset, so i would also need some reducer parts for that.
so, anyone else gone from 100 - 130mm on there hardtail ? any probs ? and will the revs go any less than 130mm ?
any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.
cheers

I went from a pair of 100 recons to 130 revs , but on a full susser. It shifted my weight back [ever so slightly] so had to bump up the pressure in the rear shock, other than that, no worries.

You suld be able to get your revs down to 90 [but it hink that's model dependant]
