Love the convenience of my Ay-Ups due to ability to have everything mounted on the helmet.

However, wondered about swapping out for the new X1 which I see is a bit delayed due to newer led's.....so pros and cons?

More output but need to have battery bag in camelback or jacket pocket.

Thoughts?

Hi benz

Only just seen this post - the X1 comes with a 2 cell battery pack as standard which is supplied with an elasticated velcro strap for helmet mounting. The 2 cell battery pack weighs 115g (so somewhere between the weight of an Ayup 1/2 Epic and Epic battery pack) and the light head around 60g so all in weight of 175g for the system.
