This popped up on my facebook the other day

https://gloriousgravel.com/product/gravel-sportives/leith-hill-brighton-leith-hill-gravel-sportive/

Looks quite fun - is anyone here doing it? Does anyone here have experience of the outfit running it? I haven't done an organized cyling event for years but seem to remember the organization varies depending on the company involved!

Like you I saw it appear the other day, so I think it may have only been announced/confirmed recently.

It could be a good day out, BUT, it's a long relatively flat slog down and back along the Downs Link (or alternative). The Surrey Hills Off-Road Epic probably offers a more interesting set of trails and allows people to explore more of the local area.

I’ve just signed up for the North Yorkshire one so we shall see how it goes.

I've been on a couple of their events and meant to be doing this Sunday's, but had to pull out. Well run, friendly bunch - They're the Gravel offshoot of Sportive Breaks (and happen to be based around the corner from me - so always happy to support a local company).

Surrey Hills off-roader was a good one and was thinking about the Leith-Brigton-Leith as they seem to pick good routes.

I shall follow this. I looked at the Bowland one but unfortunately am busy that weekend but I see there doing one around Thirsk. Ive never taken part in a organised event apart from a race round Arncliffe when I was about 13, so was a bit hesitant
