Take a tent - stay in Innerleithen at the campsite near the river

Cheap and easy. Nice people too

How many people?

Bike Lodge is ace. So is the Bike House. Both owned by folks as neck-deep in biking as you can get too, not just "bike friendly", so that's nice too.

If in a group I usually stay here:

http://www.innerhaven.co.uk/

Very flexible and another that is more than bike friendly. Andy is a top bloke, really knowledgeable and always up for a chat about biking in the area and beyond.

When I've been to gt and inners I've satyed here: http://www.tweedvalleyholidaylets.co.uk

The couple that run it are really friendly and helpful, inners is a 5 minute ride up the road and gt isn't too far to drive.

Sorta kinda. And that's awesome, if you want to wipe your bum with a pinecone.
