Thinking of upgrading but bloody love this bike. Owned frame since new. 26er, 9spd, Santa Cruz Nickel large. Float CTD rear, fox evolution up front, new (5 rides?) Brand x dropper, xt shifters, renthal bars. Xt shifters, XTR rear mech. SLX brakes. Anyone give me a rough price I should be selling for to work out if it's worth it?

26er, 9spd

RetroBike?

What frame size? If small / tiny it could make a good kids FS bike, if not then it'll only have a limited appeal to a few.

It’s tasty enough, got some nice kit on it, that I’d take a punt at sticking it on Ebay with a buy-it-now of ohh, £750..? with offers accepted...
My Yeti was, admittedly a bit more well specced, and 2x10 and I got £850 for it late last year. Nothing like what it cost to build up, but a decent enough price in the current “26 is dead” climate.
It sells, great, if not, weigh up yer options.

Out of interest, what where when was a SC Nickel? Looks kinda like a Heckler/superlight frame, but with a linkage instead of straight single pivot? Not seen dat before.

split it for maximum return

no one is buying 26ers 9 speed, but plenty need good kit to keep theirs going.

500 quid tops

I got 800 quid for a significantly better speced and newer spesh enduro about 4 years ago..

It's a nice bike though..

Take the price you paid for it new.
Minus any discounts that are available now or since you bought it.
Don’t include any upgrades in that price.
Half it.
Take 10% off for every year old it is.
Plus or minus 5% on condition and desirability.

That’s your start point.

Thinking of upgrading

OK...

but bloody love this bike.

Save your time and money and don't. Wait until it's FUBAR or you don't love it anymore, "bloody love this bike" sets a very high bar for a replacement. Nice looking bike BTW!

Bit of a curiosity, but it says Santa Cruz on it so that will help it sell.

I'd agree with about £500.

You may also want to keep the dropper, or take off and sell separately, putting original post back on bike.
