i am looking into getting one of these and sadly there is no shop for me to try out size i am around 6ft tall with inside leg of around 32" would a m/l 53.5 or lar 55.5 be best suited
go for the m/l the large is massive.

Are you bound by budget, though? The Defy 3 is a superb bike, while the 3.5 has wheels made of pig iron (The rest is great though).

I think I was a little harsh in that description. It is a very good bike but I think the 3 is the best cheap road bike available today.
wouldnt say the large is massive, i'm 6ft 1 and it fits me perfectly. decent amount of post showing and the standard 110mm stem.
need to get a sit on one if you can you may be abnormally shaped and need a different size to what the stw gods tell you.
