Am i a bit naive in thinking that the air might actually stay in my tyres now i've gone tubeless?

Are you supposed to have to pump them up every morning and for them to stay up for the duration of your ride only?

Crossmax's and tubeless specific bonty tyres, i reckon they're losing about 5 psi an hour, so should be nice and flat by the morning. What a genius invention.

Have you got any love juice in them? The stuff usually plugs up the holes. If not you could also try putting the tire/rim under water to see where the air is coming out. Could be the valve is losing the air.

lay the wheels flat (use a bin so the wheels sit dead flat) the sealant needs to coat the sidewalls.

Do the side walls say "Tubeless" or "Tubeless Ready must be used with sealant"?

They're a crap LBS if they say Bonty tyres don't need sealant. Any bike dealer selling Trek goods should know Bonty tyres are 'tubleess ready', which means sealant to make them airtight. Stans is better than the Bonty juice, and the tyres work perfectly once they're sealed. I've been using them tubeless for three years with no problems.

Bontrager Revolt Super X Tubeless Ready 2.2
Tubeless ready system has a tubeless compatible bead (requires UST rim) but seals using Bontrager Super Juice sealant (or similar).

Definetely says tubeless, not tubeless ready on side wall. There were plenty of different models stating tubeless ready which is why i went with this exact model so that juice was not needed. Looks like a visit to lbs at dinner time for some sealant then.
