The kind folks at Sidwell Cycles in Exeter have loaned me a Roscoe 2 whilst the Floats off my Five are being serviced.
It's nicely kitted out - QR15 Talas RL32's, SLX/XT, Bonty Rythm finishing kit, hideous Bonty 2.4tyres (swapped immediately for my Continental Vertical pros - as i prefer not to ride tractor tyres).
Did my commute cross-country this morning for a quick set-up test, all seems good. Taking it for a thrashing from Hound Tor later on, will report on how i get on if anyone's interested!
So - if anyone has one for heavy XC use - any tips on set-up etc. before i take it out?
