i do apoligise just incase this has been posted before, but im new to this. anyway, i currently have a Zesty with rocket rons fitted, looking at going for maybe a maxxis set up but all the tyres i see/have aviable are normal wire/folding beads. could you get these to work tubeless? has anyone tried it?? and also, whats everyones opinion on Minnion DHF front /rear set up???
I've used RRs tubeless - PITA! Needed to use plenty of washing up liquid & faffing to get them to seal and they lost air frequently.
Went back to LUST HRs
No experience of Minions but I have 6 non tubeless Maxxis tyres on 6 non tubeless wheels running fine tubeless with Stans rim strips.
I have a compressor which makes inflation and sealing easier but they work absolutely fine.
Mix of Advantages, HiRollers and Medusas.
Minions work fine tubeless in normal folding or wire bead form.
Make a ghetto tubeless inflator imo
