I'm looking at possibly getting a Genesis Day One single speed as a new commute bike to replace the thrown together old 70s racer I'm riding just now (531 and some Dura Ace kit admittedly!).
At 5'10" (32" inner leg length) I'd usually go straight to a size 54 or medium in almost any manufacturer but looking at the geometry of the Day One I think I'm somewhere between a 54 and a 56.
Popped into my local Evans at lunchtime but they didn't have any in stock for me to throw a leg over for size. Need to try and find some other shops nearby that might stock them.
Does anyone else of a similar height/proportions ride a Day One and if so, which size did you decide to go for?

I went one smaller. I'm 6'2 and ride a 58 Genesis Equilibrium, however my Day One is a 56 and that fits me fine. I did a test ride in an LBS.
If the numbers are the same as six years ago then the 54cm fits me - 5'10" and 30" inside leg - just fine.
