Genesis CDA owners - tyres/650b question

Anyone put 650s on one of these?

I’ve just bought a cheap but good condition full bike (CDA10) ex wheels and looking to potentially build it up with some cheap 650s with 47mm Terreno Drys but don’t know if these will fit -

it’s very much a hack bike so won’t be used for anything extreme - just a do it all, everyday bike - and will have a rack and saddlebag fitted asap

Any experience out there of giving a similar set up a go?

What year is it?  The older ones weren’t great on clearance. I like those tires but they seem to come up with big. Certainly the biggest of the 3 different 47mm tyres I’ve tried. I’d say 50mm

I can’t see anything other than the 700c clearance

without a wheel all you can do is measure the width been the stays at an appropriate distance from the hub axle. Which probably isn’t easy

But my hunch is that it wasn’t designed for 650b as it’s not mentioned

yes it’s kind of odd in that the CDA is touted as a similar set up to the CDF and you can find info on 650 wheels for those - I think I’ll look out for some 700cs instead and play it safe 👍
