Anyone changed the pivot bearings on a gemini recently? The LBS has them on order but it's been over a month. Any ideas on where they can be sourced online?

Any bearings place really. simplybearings.co.uk near Wigan are good. You just need the code off the old ones.

They're sealed cartridges Rickos, I was thinking you needed to just swap the cartridges for new ones - would I be able to open them up and replace the ball bearings inside - how do you get the old bearings out? It's not something I've done before.

You need to press the old bearings out (complete) and press new ones in. Ideally use a proper bearing press, but it can be done with a big bolt, some washers and a lot of care.

BETD for the bearings, the code is 6902 2RS Max
