Is there bad blood between the pair? Never seen them getting excited after races, just a forlorn looking handshake.
If you were a twenty something one time world champ and you kept being beaten in races by a 30something father of two you'd probably be pretty forlorn about it ๐
I don't know, I reckon I could live with it ๐
Could just be that there's no bad blood, just not two people who have much in common besides mtbs and with the competion, neither likes to be beaten.
I'll bet Peat would like to have Gee's WC bands though...
Seem to be on OK terms. Saw Peaty offer Gee some support after the Fort Bill round, looked genuine
Not sure it's anything to do with Peaty. I saw Gee at Fort William and - much as I respect his riding - he is not a happy and smiley kind of bunny. I guess he started the season in tip-top form thinking he would be winning races and so far has won none.
dunno, but from looking at the pics/vids there seems to be a bit of a clique........
Everyone thats ridden with/for Peaty's teams (Minnar, Fairclough, Rennie etc)
And everyone else.
if you compare dhers to multimillionaire F1 drivers who look like someone just ran over their dog and then been told that the principality of monaco/lichtenstein has given up all their tax secrets to the inland revenue
at least DHers seem to have some sort of genuine personality and charisma, but still high pressure situations like race day its hard to get a genuine impression of how people get on
I think thisisnotaspoon is not far off the mark. The Santa Cruz Syndicate boys do seem to be having a lot more fun
peaty is too laid back to have bad blood about anything!
Peaty is not petty and Gee is a whiz - both are competetive so I guess that's all it issss..... ๐
