frustrating ! Before i replaced cable and outer i thought i'd try and clean inner first .Thats ok outer is running nice and smooth .But if i get it right going up the block it hesitates going down and vice versa !So with me dads voice in me head i put the bike away and will have another go tomorrow .I know it makes sense .Why is something so straightforward such a pain sometimes .Reckon the smart moneys on changing cable and outer to save time .Or am i missing something ?
Could be to much play in the Jockey wheels..
But i know what ya mean mines like that now... ๐ฟ
For the cost relative to hassle I tend to just replace the entire inner and outer cables on the rear- then you can be sure that the cables aren't part of any problem. Cables to the front mech, because of the higher tension are not that sensitive and can be replaced in parts or recycled from old rear cabling(if it looks OK)
