am the proud owner of a cove hummer frame (2008 frame local bike shop cheap) and although its obviously well made the gear cable stops are in a bit of a pony position/too tight to frame in my opinion.

the regular xt cables being stiff are pushing on frame at awkward angle especially where the front mech one goes past seat tube and down.

anyone know of a more flexible set of outers etc. was wondering about the new goodridge ones as their brake hoses are supple.

cheers in advance

For bendiness- Nokon.
For smooth action- Gore Ride On.

Gore Ride Ons will make a massive difference.
Nokon will feel like normal but can do funny angles well.

I've got Nokons and they're great. Haven't noticed any difference compared to the shimano outers I had before, but they'll bend around anything. No experience of Gore though (if I'm honest I was looking for Gore when I bought Nokon, as nowhere seemed to have them in stock at the time).

Ive just put Gore on my race bike after it's winter rebuild. The difference is unbelievable. Fair enough theyre expensive and they take a bit more time to fit, but well worth it!!

+1 for gore cables. Cables are reasonably flexible so should be ok for you.
