Im fed up with my Android not tracking full rides on strava , It also tears the arse out of the battery.
So all I need is something that tracks my rides and as a bonus has a heart rate monitor as at times I've felt dangerously close to overdoing It.
The Garmin Fore runner 50 looks like a good basic GPS tracker , anyone got one and like / hate It ore even want to sell one.
Your thoughts please.
Ermm, according to the Garmin site the Forerunner 50 doesn't have GPS. It's the 110 that is the cheapest, budgetiest GPS one. Well, except for the Forerunner 10 that isn't on sale yet.
Oooh just as well I checked , So the forerunner 50 is purely a heart rate monitor then. ?
It's a HRM, and I suppose the footpad attachment thing could do some sort of distance measurement. But I was looking for the same thing, something to replace the dodgy GPS output from a phone. HRM was a lower priority for me. Got the 110, and it does what I need.
