I've recently started riding with a smartphone paired with my Garmin Oregon 700 and it seems to work reasonably well, displaying various notifications.
However, the notifications pop up quietly and stay in place for a few seconds (unless manually closed) before disappearing and they're easy to miss.
There's no mention of Smart Notifications in the Tones section of Setup; a quick Google suggests that Smart Notification settings are handled by Garmin Connect on the smartphone but I can only find options to allow Smart Notifications from specific apps.
Is there any way to configure the Oregon to beep when a smart notification appears?
