Managed to break the screen on my Edge 305 this am following an off.

there's some black bubbles around the edge and the glass cover is cracked.

What are Garmin like for out of warranty repairs - timescales and costs?

cheers

Luke

I've heard (anecdotally) that they're very good though not sure on exact prices. I've certainly heard of people getting free repairs when they didn't expect them.

They tend to just replace items with refurbed ones

cost me £60

Expensive ride 🙁

came close to scratching the stanchions on my forks too - paint damage to crown and leg on one side - got away with that though.

I think it's all one fixed rate if it goes back to Garmin

just spoke to them - they can't/won't replace screens so it's a replacement head unit at £66 for me.

Quick update - posted the broken unit to Garmin on Thursday of last week and a refurbished one arrived via DHL today.

To be honest - it looks brand new!

£66 seems very good value.
