Does anyone have the above combo and managed to get them to work with the Garmin connect iphone app? i can connect the garmin to my phone with bluetooth but when i open the garmin app it cant find it.
Not a Plus but a 6S. Latest firmware/OS on both. Works fine.
What do you mean by 'you can't find it' in the app? Is it listed under 'Garmin devices' in the menu?

If you had the garmin paired with a previous phone then you need to delete it from you devices list as this can cause an issue.
Just tried it on my girlfriends phone an iPhone 6 and it worked straight away odd

Works fine with my 25/6S.
Sometimes I have to manually pair the Garmin to the 6S - there is an option on the Garmin menus. Then the app just sorts it out or select Garmin devices on the app.

Also start a fresh by clearing it from the iPhone Bluetooth settings.
