Garmin Edge 1000 bricked…anyone got old firmware?

Trying to resurrect an old Garmin Edge 1000 and last option is to use some old version firmware. Does anyone have a copy for download (v6 to v10)?

Alternatively has anyone successfully fixed one? It charges, shows garmin loading screen, visible as device on computer but won’t fully load up. Tried a Garmin cure option with no joy.

Looks like there might be a few versions HERE, but I have no idea how trustworthy it will be

Thanks for the link. I found this site but it didn’t link to the physical downloads only the Garmin page that links to the web-updater app. Cheers anyway

Garmin forums won’t touch the Edge 1000 as discontinued. Shame as device in mint condition.
