Anyone got a spare of the large ones? Its going to cost me about 20e to buy the bloody thing either online or in an LBS and I'll throw the smaller ones in my toolbox along with the other set I have in there. Happy to pay or bung a fiver in a collection box somewhere

I take it this the accelerometer version.?
Unless you are using it on more than one bike you could just take the sensor out of the rubber holder altogether and use some decent double sided tape to stick it to the crank arm. Makes for a much stealthier fitting.

Of course if you want to take it off to put on another bike regularly then that's a daft idea.!! ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Is it the same size as the quarter turn mount o ring?

Yep the accelerometer version with their daft proprietary bands. I was considering taping it (and probably will for this week) but it doesn't feel particularly high tech.

Boblo - no, it's a strange rectangular thing with 3 bands around the crank rather than an o-ring

The double sided tape solution would have the sensor hanging mostly by the battery door, which is very flimsy. Of course, it can be flipped over, but then it will be directly exposed to water splashes.

The Wahoo cadence sensor (which looks to be almost identical) comes with a rubber holder and a bit of 3M tape, mine has been stuck to the crankarm for 2 years now, used in all weathers and hasn't cause me a single problem.

Oh, it wouldn't be double sided, it'd be duct tape. It'll look shit whilst I find replacement bands.
