Okay has my Garmin for 6 months and it's still great. Used to use Tracklogs for plotting routes but now use Garmin connect for road routes (not sure that's relevant..).
The normal colour for following a course is bright blue for where you have been and stupid dull purple fir where you are going. So found through reading posts you can go into course settings and change the colours - great. And it worked for a month.
Now when I change the course colour to a better colour, it displays that colour on the overview page then when you go into the OS map it still shows dull purple, go back into the overview page still dull purple, even though when you go into the settings again it shows the bright colour has been selected????
What's going on!
Tempted to do a factory reset but then I'll lose all my other settings and totals etc.
Any help???

You can only change the colour viewing it on the map, you can't change it from purple for following a route afaik, I'm sure there is a thread on it on the garmin forum.

You can change it when following a course on the OS map as I did it for about a dozen rides. That's why I'm so confused as now I can't.
Upload course, select course, custom info, choose map course colour, navigate to start yes, course found, off you go.
Like I say I've done it but now the Garmin won't......???
