My Garmin 510 does not sync with my Huawei Y7. The phone & unit sync but does not register on the Connect app.
Anyone have any ideas?
you have added the garmin to the connect app - under Garmin Devices?
Yes & then it goes to my activity page & nothing shows.
Have a look at see if the Phone power saving settings are killing the app too soon.
Nothing in the power settings, the actual app doesn't close down it just doesn't show the ride stats.
Garmin stuff doesn't always play nice with Huawei phones. Something to do with the Bluetooth. Neither my 510 nor my Vivoactive connect to my P10 Lite. Plenty of stuff online about Garmin and Huawei
Some Garmins have got firmware updates to work with Huawei. Though probably just the newer models, don't think there's anything for the Edge 510. Worth checking if you have the latest firmware anyway.
