The PC and cable are fine as other devices work. Getting the Garmin to connect to download is really hit and miss though.
Anyone else struggle?
Didn't get the cash back from the offer that convinced me to buy the blummin thing either.
Not impressed.
I know it should mount as a USB drive but have you tried Garmin myDashboard to see if it can be detected? There may be a firmware update you could apply.
Hold the lap/reset button in for several secs before plugging the Garmin in.
If you're using a laptop, have it on mains power.
Make sure it's running the latest

Solved this problem on mine, by turning it off, holding in the bottom left button and then plugging it in.
Seemed to update software, then worked again.
