Just got a shiny new bike and i am setting up the fork.

It has an 'open mode adjust' for 'rider weight shifts, G-outs, and slow inputs.

I can work out what rider weight shifts are although not sure how you would adjust on the fly for weight shifts as you would be adjusting constantly but what on earth are G-outs, and slow inputs?

can anyone help?

TIA

No idea what fork it is, but it sounds like a low speed compression adjustment to stop diving?

Anything low speed, e.g. brake dive, the rider pumping the bike, landing a jump, going through a berm or bomb hole.

High speed on the other hand is the suspension reacting to rocks, roots, etc.

Its referring to the speed the damper shaft moves, not the speed of the bike.

Is it a Cane Creek?

I always assumed a G-out was when the bike runs out of travel in a transition from a slope to flat ish surface. So I'd think it was some sort of low speed compression damping.

The other terms can lend themselves to low speed compression scenarios too.

Is it just “gout”? Extra damping for the heavier rider, perhaps?

Bottom of a bomb hole, where the suspension gets compressed from the massive G forces.

LSC will control pedal bob as well, and if you're braking and the fork is diving then that too.
