Got this old bureau to restore as a bit of a project for the mrs & I
I'm kinda thinking it would be best to just strip back to the most natural wood finish we can then treated with maybe a wax or oil clear stain, something with a Matt finish.... but the other option would be to go for a painted shabby chic look, but I've rarely seen this done when it doesn't look like a botched carol smilie job!
Any tips or advice on where the hell to start?
